Set Up the Game

Start a new game by selecting the number of players (2-6) and choosing your game token. Each player receives $1,500 of MONOPOLY money to start their property empire.

Roll and Move

Players take turns rolling the dice and moving their token around the board. The spaces you land on determine your actions. You might have the opportunity to buy a property, pay rent to another player, draw a Chance or Community Chest card, or even get sent to Jail!

Buy Properties

When you land on an unowned property, you can buy it by paying the price shown on the board. Collect properties of the same color to build a monopoly. The more properties you own, the more rent you can collect from other players who land on them.

Build and Develop

Once you own all properties of the same color (a monopoly), you can start building houses and hotels to increase the rent. The more you build, the more you can charge other players when they land on your properties.

Trade and Negotiate

Make deals with other players to acquire the properties you need. Offer money, properties, or immunity from rent to convince others to trade with you. Strategic trading is often the key to winning MONOPOLY!

Collect and Pay

Collect $200 salary every time you pass GO. Pay taxes when landing on tax spaces. Draw Chance and Community Chest cards when landing on those spaces, which can bring unexpected rewards or penalties.

Avoid Bankruptcy

If you owe more money than you can pay, you must sell houses, mortgage properties, or declare bankruptcy. Manage your finances carefully to stay in the game!

Win the Game

The last player remaining after all others have gone bankrupt is the winner! Alternative victory conditions in Quick Mode include being the richest player after a set number of rounds.
